Art Haecker’s love affair with coffee came rather late in life. Like many people, Art wandered in ignorance in the swamp of frou-frou latte dessert-drinks before his palate evolved with an appreciation of niche coffee. While Art’s love of coffee was pure it was sadly indiscriminate, at least it was before encountering Craig King. Art was truly amazed at Craig’s unsettling knowledge of coffee. What was at first fear soon became curiosity as Craig guided Art down the path of single origin and optimal water density. Now he is a convert. Spreading the truth about quality roasts so that no one is forced to drink mediocre coffee!
